a. We recommend that unenhanced computed tomography is the preferred imaging modality for the diagnosis of suspected nephrolithiasis in autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (1B). b. We recommend that patients with autosomaldominant polycystic kidney disease complicated by nephrolithiasis should be investigated for predisposing urinary metabolic abnormalities (1C) and we suggest receive corrective therapy if an abnormality is identified (2D).
